RogoLink ("we", "us") operates rogolink.com, a service that helps customers buy vehicles listed at North American auto auctions and import them to their country. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
- Order information: the vehicle you order, delivery and destination details, order amounts and the status of your order.
- Messages you send us: inquiries submitted through our contact form and our replies.
- Preferences: saved searches, vehicles on your watchlist and whether you have turned alerts on for them.
- Technical information: your IP address, which we use to estimate your country so we can show prices in the right currency. This lookup happens on our own servers; your IP address is not sent to a third party for this purpose.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, including confirming your email address.
- To process, purchase, ship and deliver the vehicles you order, and to keep you informed about your order.
- To respond to your inquiries.
- To send the saved-search and price-drop alerts you have turned on.
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
We only email people who have created an account with us. We send service emails about your account and orders, replies to your inquiries, and alerts you have chosen to receive. We do not send marketing email, and we never buy, rent or sell email lists.
Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also turn alerts off from your dashboard. If an email to your address bounces or you mark one of our emails as spam, we stop emailing that address.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: to keep you signed in, to protect forms against forgery, and to remember your destination country. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our service:
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our website and sends our emails.
- Google and Microsoft, if you choose to sign in with them.
- Auction houses, shipping companies, customs brokers and customs authorities, to buy, ship and clear the vehicle you ordered.
- Payment providers, who process your payment under their own privacy policies. We do not store card numbers.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. We keep order records for as long as needed for shipping, customs, tax and accounting requirements. If an address bounces, sends a complaint or unsubscribes, we keep a record of it so that we do not email it again.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details at any time from your account page. You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@rogolink.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
